A través de talleres y experiencias de arte comunitario, la dupla de editoras y artistas Daniela Josefina y Camila González Simon fomentan un espacio seguro y disidente para la experimentación creativa. Les interesa explorar los márgenes de las prácticas editoriales, la libre expresión y el activismo como herramientas para el cambio social.
Durante el estallido social de 2019, organizaron ACCIÓN GRÁFICA URGENTE, una serie de sesiones colectivas para crear y difundir afiches de protesta. A partir de esta experiencia, en 2022 fueron invitadas a integrar la red internacional de editoriales independientes Lumbung of Publishers en el marco de la feria de arte contemporáneo Documenta15.
En 2023 organizaron dos exposiciones: Agitación Gráfica Feminista en el Palacio Pereira y Banquete Editorial en el Instituto Telearte. En 2024 presentaron Mitín Gráfico Disidente, una activación gráfica queer como parte de la residencia del artista Seba Calfuqueo en Galería 420, y cerraron el año con la residencia Museo Habitado, donde realizaron talleres y crearon una fanzinoteca en el Museo Violeta Parra.
En 2024, fueron reconocidas con el Publisher Work Grant, entregado por Printed Matter con el apoyo de Wagner Foundation, un fondo que celebra a editoriales independientes que están transformando el mundo de las publicaciones de artistas. De esta manera, se compraron su duplicadora riso, llamada Gabriela.
A lo largo de su trayectoria, realizan talleres de fanzines para todas las edades en museos y otros espacios culturales y han tres encuentros de Formatos No Convencionales, donde celebran las publicaciones experimentales a través de una convocatoria abierta que reúne a creadores y pensadores.
Through workshops and community art experiences, the duo of editors and artists Daniela Josefina and Camila González Simon foster a safe and dissident space for creative experimentation. They are interested in exploring the margins of publishing practices, free expression, and activism as tools for social change.
During the 2019 social uprising, they organized ACCIÓN GRÁFICA URGENTE, a series of collective sessions to create and disseminate protest posters. Following this experience, in 2022 they were invited to join the international network of independent publishers Lumbung of Publishers, within the framework of the contemporary art fair Documenta15.
In 2023, they organized two exhibitions: Agitación Gráfica Feminista at Palacio Pereira and Banquete Editorial at Instituto Telearte. In 2024, they presented Mitín Gráfico Disidente, a queer graphic activation as part of artist Seba Calfuqueo’s residency at Galería 420, and closed the year with the residency Museo Habitado, where they led workshops and created a fanzinoteca at the Violeta Parra Museum.
In 2024, they were awarded the Publisher Work Grant, granted by Printed Matter with the support of the Wagner Foundation, a fund that celebrates independent publishers transforming the world of artist publications. With this support, they purchased their risograph duplicator, affectionately named Gabriela.
Throughout their trajectory, they have conducted zine workshops for all ages in museums and other cultural spaces, and have organized three editions of Formatos No Convencionales, gatherings that celebrate experimental publishing through an open call that brings together creators and thinkers.
